This makes for more convenient circuit protection solutions and a smaller spare-parts stock, since the same circuit breakers are used, irrespective of whether the application is going to North America, Germany or China. Naturally, most of Emcomp's circuit breakers carry the telecom industry's approval, UL 489A.
Limited space for electric installations and circuit protection
In telecom installations, space is frequently limited and you need the most compact components. The Hydraulic-Magnetic technology enables thinner circuit breakers, 13 mm instead of 18 mm for thermal breakers, which means that more breakers can be accommodated in a smaller space.

Emcomp's circuit protection solutions for telecom applications were developed by CBI in South-Africa. The circuit breakers comply with numerous international standards, e.g. IEC/EN/VDE (Europe), UL (America) and CCC (China). They are available in standard designs as well as customized according to customer specific requirements.
