Sometimes, several cables need to be connected to the same circuit protection system. This is where Emcomp can provide valuable assistance, as we have several years' experience with various types of busbar systems. It ranges all the way from standardised busbars to complex customised mechanical designs. Our skilled engineers can quickly and effectively draw and design your system using our CAD tools. Insulated busbars

Emcomp’s insulated busbars are especially designed for usage together with CBI Q-range MCBs. Due to the smaller modular width of the Q-range (13 mm) we of course also need to support with busbar systems with the same pitch. The busbars are available in various configurations for 1-3 phases, with or without auxiliary switches. Emcomp’s Busbars for Q-range are available in both straight and 90degree angled versions, with pin as well as fork connection. Usage of Emcomp’s Busbars saves time during assembly as well as gives more even distribution of the current which increase safety as the risk for imbalanced loads in the system decreases.
Paralleling busbars for front mounted CBEs

CBI´s portfolio of front mounted battery circuit breakers (DD-frame) is probably the most compact and cost effective solutions on the market. In a very compact form factor we can handle up to 400A DC. However, in order to reach more than 125A proper paralleling bridges are needed. In our portfolio of paralleling busbars there are versions for 2,3,4 and 5 poles circuit breakers. We also have options for open end cable connection as well as with studs for cable lugs. The standard version is untreated copper but in the cases where the application calls for it we can also deliver with surface treatment.
Paralleling busbars for MCBs

The ranges of dedicated DC circuit breakers for DIN rail mounting offers new possibilities for DC distributions without vague de-rating rules for applying AC MCBs to DC voltages. For the higher rated currents 80A and above, a proper paralleling bridge is needed for best possible performance. In our portfolio there are paralleling bridges for MCBs with 13, 19 and 26mm pitch. They can be both in straight or in angled version and with connection terminals for different size of open end cable as well as with studs for connection of cables with cable lug. The standard version is untreated copper but in the cases where the application calls for it we can also deliver with surface treatment.

For an easy and reliable way be able to connect cables and busbars in a system is not always easy. Therefore we are utilizing sub-components from some of our circuit breakers and supply as separate components. The advantage is that they are designed to create reliable connections and they are easy to deliver in large quantity to an attractive price picture.
